DS 2D - Mega Man : Zero

The first Mega Man ZERO game was released in 2002. It featured Zero, a popular Capcom character that was introduced in the Mega Man X series. The Mega Man ZERO series follows Zero through a dark and thrilling 2D action-adventure with high-quality visuals and action. Users can expect to make use of Zero's trademarks weapons like the Z-sabor and Buster Shot. There will also be interesting devices like the Chain Rod and Zero Knuckle. For the first time, the Mega Man ZERO series will be available for Nintendo DS, complete with all-new modes.

"Excellent games"

Before I get started I'd like to point out this review is structured a tad differently. Firstly is a review of the actual compilation/presentation. After that is some mini reviews of each game for those that haven't played the titles. With that said:

Mega Man games have been around...for ages, and the series has been made fun of the sheer number in incarnations. Still, Capcom obviously is doing something right considering fans keep coming back for more. In their gracing of virtually every system, a character was introduced on the SNES series named Zero. An alternative to Mega Man X, and eventually playable character boasting contrasting design and close range combat with a sword. The Gameboy Advance was a perfect system for a MM game, and so a newly redesigned Zero stepped into the spotlight as the series main character. I'll get into the specifics in a minute.

Years later, Capcom has been doing many MM compilations for its many sub series, and now they've finally given their fans a much needed DS collection with the GBA games. Unfortunately, while I'm glad they created this title, it comes off as a pretty sloppy and uninspired collection. Here's a break down of what to expect... (Note this will matter more to people that are familiar with the games, you may want to skip this if you are entirely new to the series)
