I got some behind the scenes access to what Valve is showing at E3. Believe it or not, Valve has said that Portal is the game that has the biggest emotional bond with its audience. I was floored to hear that, but portal was quite the experience and I know that many, many people love the game. But I digress."

| Transformers: War For Cybertron Preview - Alternative Magazine Online June 19, 2010 at 11:42 PM |
| AMO has just posted a huge preview of the new Transformers game: "War For Cybertron is a ret conned prequel to the original 1984 Generation One series Transformers. Like most modern TF games, its split into two campaigns the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. To get a good feel for it, I suggest playing the bad guys first (which rubs me the wrong way, Im an Autobot fan) as canonically, they started the whole civil war after all. Megatron is there in his G1 Pre-Earth glory, a silver warrior with a massive fusion cannon on his arm. Believing the Transformers home planet of Cybertron is quickly heading to ruin, he starts rallying troops for his cause to take the planet by force." | |

| E3 2010: Fallout New Vegas Hands-On Impression | JPS June 19, 2010 at 10:35 PM |
| "Now that RPGs like Final Fantasy XIII are out of the way, the next one on every RPG gamers list for this year is Bethesda Softworks Fallout: New Vegas that is scheduled for a Fall release. Fallout: New Vegas is an entirely new game, not a sequel to Fallout 3 or anything like that. On the show floor, only playable for the press, I managed to play the first few levels of Fallout: New Vegas and I am impressed as to how Obsidian Entertainment managed to keep most of the enjoyable elements from Fallout 3 while still adding new features as well." - JPS | |

Since it's easy to lose track of every game amidst the flood of previews, news and video that comes out of every E3 show, we've compiled a list of a select number of games we saw on the show floor and behind closed doors.
| First MOH Beta gameplay + info June 19, 2010 at 9:38 PM |

Unlike most fantasty games, Magicka combines action, combos and a healthy dose of humor to make a gameplay experience unlike anything else currently on the gaming horizon. We caught up with game Director Johan Pilestedt to warn him not to go to Camelot, for it is a silly place.

| APB review "embargo" explained by Realtime Worlds June 19, 2010 at 9:37 PM |
| A tiny hoohah has blown up from comments made to journalists receiving promotional copies of Realtime Worlds' highly anticipated MMO-GTA-with-balls APB. A review embargo was slapped on the game with reviewers told not to cover the game until July 6th, a week after the game's 'Key to the City' Beta and Review phase begins (on June 29th). Everyone got their pants in a bunch about this statement, but Realtime Worlds have gone on record over at RockPaperShotgun to try and clarify the issue. What they say makes a lot of sense so here's the blurb:" | |
| Portal 2's Wolpaw: 'I Do Not Want To Resurrect A Three-Year-Old Meme' June 19, 2010 at 9:37 PM |
| Any game developer would feel privileged to have released a game that generated as many oft-quoted lines of dialogue as Valve's 2007 action puzzler Portal. But Valve writer Erik Wolpaw tells Gamasutra that, with Portal 2, he has no interest in fueling the internet fires that years later still burn with references to cake and companion cubes. "If thought you were sick of the memes, I was sick of it way ahead of you," said Wolpaw, who was the primary writer on Portal and one of two writing leads on its upcoming sequel, which was demonstrated this week at the E3 Expo. | |

| TGH: Fable 3 Hands On June 19, 2010 at 6:16 PM |
| Fable 3 is one of my most anticipated games for me to play later this year. Too bad Microsoft didnt feel the same way when they only showed a few minuets of the Kinetic support that the game will feature. Even though Fable 3 didnt exactly have a time to shine in the conference doesnt mean its not a dimming light at this years E3. On the floor the game couldnt be anymore popular. | |

| Return of the IP: How Snowblind Will Save LOTR June 19, 2010 at 1:42 PM |
| PSInsider writes: You can't just walk into Mordor, and, these days, you can't just walk into the store and pick up a quality Lord of the Rings title for your console like it's 2003. Since Peter Jackson's The Fellowship of the Ring in 2001, there have been twelve LOTR games, fourteen if you count expansions and EA's (sadly) canned The White Council, not to mention free, browser-based games, board games, card games, and all the other ways publishers have sought to monetize the property. Surely, this flood of games would be enough for even the most die-hard "ringer," no? No. A thousand times, no. | |

But, rather than sit around all weekend and wait for Monday, we dragged our tired asses in for one more meeting, figured out the most memorable stuff and got this thing ready to go."

The best part about these games is that they are all free-to-play."
| The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Is Proud To Be Hardcore June 19, 2010 at 10:29 AM |
| The Witcher 2 is an unabashedly hardcore role-playing game from a group of Polish developers who barely care about getting an M rating so they can make it onto U.S. store shelves, much less the T rating that most RPGs shoot for. | CNET: Costumes, creatures, and more from the E3 2010 show floor June 19, 2010 at 8:19 AM |
| CNET: "Nothing makes an E3 show stand out like the collection of costumed characters, full-size monster sculptures, and movielike props that fill the halls, booths, and even the lobbies of the Los Angeles Convention Center. It's closer at times to a comic book convention than an industry-only trade show, and a pretty good barometer of how the companies involved feel about the overall health of the expo (a frequent topic on conversation over the past few years)." | |

| GI: Star Wars: The Old Republic Preview June 19, 2010 at 8:19 AM |
| Game Informer: BioWares E3 announcements this year for their upcoming sci-fi MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic focused on the addition of player-owned spaceships and PvP Warzones to the game. Neither of these was actually playable, but I did get my first chance to try the game for myself. As both a heavy MMO player and a Star Wars fan, I can happily say that its looking like The Old Republic will be able to provide satisfying content for both of those sides. | |

| Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Single Player Walkthrough Trailer [HD] June 19, 2010 at 8:03 AM |
| PSU Writes: "If you think Assassins Creed: Brotherhood is all about multiplayer action, think again. In this video released by Ubisoft, we get a walkthrough of the single player campaign. This is a nice long narrated video, which shows off some of the new features like the use of horses in towns (finally) and horseback combat. We saw some of this footage earlier in the week, including the portion where Ezio uses a cannon. Combat has also been improved, apparently, which may be one of the biggest highlights for those who played the original games. Look for Assassins Creed: Brotherhood on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 7." | |

From the demo, Ezio wakes up to an attack on the village you built in the previous game. Cannon's start firing and we soon find the Borgia clan is behind the attack with hopes of seizing the Apple of Eden.

| E3: Assassins Creed Brotherhood Preview (Zavvi.com) June 19, 2010 at 7:31 AM |
| Zavvi.com: "Last years Assassins Creed 2 was the very best kind of sequel it took what worked in the slightly flawed original, beefed those parts up, and discarded all of the elements that made the second half of that first game something of a chore to play through. Aside from those excellent gameplay refinements the plot was also far more involving, the dialogue and characterisation were noticeably superior..." | |
