GameZone: Red Faction: Armageddon Behind Closed Doors Demonstration
June 20, 2010 at 2:53 PM

"Changing it up from the open-world formula of Guerilla, Armageddon is presented as a third-person action title and would almost look and act too similar to many other action titles on the market if it wasnt for the Magnet Gun. The Magnet Gun is Armageddons secret weapon that makes the title all so sweet with sugar, sunshine and rainbows. At first, players will fire at one object that they want to be pulled in one direction. Once they find that object, whether it is a concrete wall or a vehicle, the players must find a second object for the first to come crashing towards. The end result is a gorgeous display of disaster."

GameZone: DC Universe Online Hands-on Impressions
June 20, 2010 at 11:50 AM

"A level that was playable featured Harley Quinn, and that girl is psychotic. Sure the coating might be a bit on the light side but the cut scene, crafted by artist Jim Lee shows a character that is whacked. "

GameZone: The Agency Hands-On Impressions
June 20, 2010 at 11:32 AM

"The Agency is now looking for a release date in 2011, maybe, but the changes made over the past year have been intelligent and instead of merely delaying the release of the game, the changes have augmented and have made it a better game. With more development time ahead, it seems likely that The Agency is on the way to provide a strong MMO contender with a unique perspective. "

Joystiq: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Preview
June 20, 2010 at 11:31 AM

Joystiq: The yellow and black color scheme you've seen in trailers and screenshots is highlighted from the opening moments of our demo as we enter a city outside Shanghai. It teems with life and, perhaps more noticeably, advertising that illuminates every corner of the narrow street with dingy yellow light. It's an impressive effect.

Digital Trends: Assassins Creed Brotherhood: Multiplayer Hands-On Impressions
June 20, 2010 at 11:31 AM

Digital Trends: The idea of playing a multiplayer competitive version of Assassins Creed might seem a bit odd at first. The game is very singularly one-player. A co-op game online might have potential, but when it was announced that Assassins Creed: Brotherhood would feature a competitive multiplayer, many of us were left wondering how they would ever pull it off. Today we got a chance to eat our words.

Atomic Gamer: E3 2010 Preview: Marvel vs. Capcom 3
June 20, 2010 at 10:17 AM

Atomic Gamer: Few video games are so good that they last for a full decade out in the community; either a sequel comes out that kills off interest in previous games, or people just move on to something else entirely. But Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was a rare exception to that rule, bringing over 50 characters from a number of great franchises together into a ridiculously unbalanced, but immensely fun game.

Digital Trends: First Impressions of Civilization V
June 20, 2010 at 10:17 AM

Digital Trends: Releasing a new Civilization game is a lot like releasing a new Ford Mustang. No matter what you do, legions of cranky fan boys in love with the old ones are going to complain.

Digital Trends: First Impressions of XCOM
June 20, 2010 at 10:17 AM

Digital Trends: If Activisions remake of GoldenEye 007 represents the ultimate nostalgic indulgence a near one-to-one copy of an original as much for the sake of reviving memories as much for creating new ones the latest XCOM represents the polar opposite a sequel so far removed from the original that some fans may question whether it really deserves the name.
